We are based in the Snowy Mountains of NSW, working from an alpine landscape shaped by snow, lakes, and resilient native plants. Established in 2018, Instinks began as a small-batch maker focused on thoughtful formulation, traditional methods, and high-quality natural ingredients.

Our range is grounded in plant-based formulations and carefully chosen materials. We prioritise ingredient integrity, mindful sourcing, and packaging choices that align with our environmental values wherever practical. Many of our products are made using natural oils, butters, waxes, botanicals, and essential oils, with an increasing number of herbs now grown and harvested on our own land in the Snowy Mountains as we continue to expand our garden and tea range.

Instinks products are made with intention — not speed or shortcuts. We focus on gentle, well-balanced formulations inspired by traditional bath, body, and apothecary practices, rather than mass-produced alternatives. Our work is driven by craft, not trends, and we choose not to compete with low-cost products made using harsh or filler ingredients.

Our collection includes bath and body products, soaps, balms, shampoos, conditioners, candles, essential oils, dried herbs, and teas — all made in small batches using premium raw materials. Each range is designed to feel grounded, functional, and quietly luxurious, with an emphasis on quality over quantity.

We supply a wide range of wholesale partners, including gift shops, health food stores, cafés, hotels, and day spas. Wholesale offerings can include soap bars, guest amenities, bath and body products, candles, essential oils, massage oils, hand care, teas, and dried herbs, depending on your business needs.

Many of our customers actively seek local stockists to reduce shipping and support independent retailers. For this reason, we promote our wholesale partners through our website stockists page and social media. When you share our products in your space, we are always happy to share that connection with our wider community.

HOW DOES IT WORK

Wholesale minimums

Minimum order for wholesale customers is $400 first purchase, $150 minimum thereafter.

We do not accept business that sell online only or on ebay only  etc, you must have a shop, lodge, airbnb or Motel., day spa etc

  • Shops $150 minimum per wholesale order ($400 first order)
  • Wholesale is 30% off retail. Like any product however, what you choose to sell our products for is entirely up to you.
