Hi, I’m Jacinta

I’m the founder, formulator and maker behind Alpine Apothecary, a small family business based on our property in the Snowy Mountains of NSW.

I formulate, blend, pour and pack our products in my farm workshop, with a little help from my family when things get busy. This is not a factory or a white-label brand. The products you buy are genuinely made here by me in small batches.

My aim is simple: to make beautiful, practical products that earn their place in your everyday routine.

About Alpine Apothecary

Alpine Apothecary grew from years of hands-on making, herbal study and practical formulation experience. What began as small batches for family and friends became a working apothecary producing botanical skincare, soaps, shampoo and conditioner bars, candles, bath products, herbal teas, balms and home fragrance.

Some of our peppermint, calendula, yarrow and elderflower is grown here on the property. It is harvested, dried or infused before becoming part of selected products. Other ingredients are carefully sourced for their quality, function and suitability.

Our scented products are created with pure essential oils, not synthetic fragrance. Every formula is developed through ongoing study, testing, refinement and real-world production experience.

Made for real life

Living and making in the Australian alpine region shapes the business. Products are tested through cold winters, dry summers and the demands of everyday family life. I adjust and improve formulas through making, customer feedback and practical use.

I do not chase trends or make exaggerated promises. I focus on thoughtful ingredients, reliable formulas and products that feel good to use.

You can shop online, find us at local markets, or visit the farm shop on Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm. If you would like to visit at another time, please call ahead.
