A modern apothecary born in the Snowy Mountains

Alpine Apothecary began the way most good things do — with a need, a bit of stubbornness, and a place that shaped everything.

Up in the Snowy Mountains of NSW, where eucalyptus snow gums twist through the wind and the seasons actually mean something, I wanted to create products that made sense for real people living real lives. Products that didn’t pretend. Products that worked with the body, not against it. Products made with ingredients you can recognise - many of them grown right here on our land.

It started with small batches in the workshop, herbs drying on racks, oils infusing in jars, and the familiar scent of calendula, chamomile, mullein, peppermint, lavender and alpine green tea filling the room. Simple herbs, grown with cold mornings, high altitude, and intention. And from those herbs came the foundations of everything we make today: balms, candles, teas, tinctures, skincare, solid bars,, incense and blends inspired directly by the mountain climate.

Alpine Apothecary isn’t about fads, trends, or shortcuts.
It’s about craft.
It’s about learning the plants, listening to the seasons, and making products slowly and properly.
It’s about keeping packaging simple, plastic-free where possible, and honouring the land that gives us so much.

Every formula starts with a question:
What would actually help?
And every product ends with the same thought:
Would I feel proud giving this to someone I care about?

From hand-poured candles to herbal teas picked from the garden, from solid skincare bars to apothecary-style tinctures, everything we make is shaped by this mountain place — the cold, the wind, the altitude, the resilience.

This is the heart of Alpine Apothecary:
Small-batch.
Herbal-rooted.
Locally grown where possible.
Made with intention in our Snowy Mountains workshop.

Real plants.
Real craft.
Real care.
