Our white yarrow is grown, harvested and dried in small seasonal batches on our Alpine Apothecary property in the Snowy Mountains, NSW.
Flavour and Aroma
Strongly herbal, earthy and naturally bitter, with the distinctive aroma of a traditional cottage-garden herb.
Ways to Use
- Use in traditional home-apothecary preparations
- Infuse the fully dried herb into a suitable carrier oil for handmade balms and body-care projects
- Add to botanical bath bags and foot-soak blends
- Use in soaps, botanical crafts and decorative herb blends
For Herbal Infusions
Yarrow has a naturally strong, bitter character, so a small amount is generally used when preparing a traditional herbal infusion. Strain well before use.
