Soft, golden and naturally gentle, our Chamomile Flowers are a beautiful apothecary herb for tea, bath blends, facial steams, infused oils and handmade skincare.
Chamomile has long been loved in traditional herbal practice for its delicate floral aroma and soothing, comforting character. These whole dried flowers can be brewed as a simple herbal tea, blended with other botanicals, infused into oil, or added to bath and body preparations.
While we grow many herbs here in the Snowy Mountains, Australian-grown organic chamomile is currently very difficult to source in the quality and volume we need. Our own chamomile crop was also lost before harvesting this season, so this batch has been carefully sourced as organic chamomile from Egypt - a region well known for producing high-quality chamomile flowers.
As always, we choose our herbs based on quality, freshness and suitability for apothecary use, rather than pretending everything is grown here when it isn’t.
We will attempt at growing chamomile again in the future .
