Pale, fibrous and naturally mild, our cut Marshmallow Root is wildcrafted and supplied by Austral Herbs. Its soft, earthy character makes it a useful single herb for traditional cold infusions, custom herbal blends and home apothecary preparations.
This is cut root rather than powder, making it easy to measure and strain.
Cold Infusion
Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of dried marshmallow root per cup of cool water. Cover and steep for 4 to 8 hours or overnight, then strain.
Ingredient
100% dried wildcrafted Marshmallow Root (Althaea officinalis), 10–20mm cut.
Store sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
